CO-FOUNDER AND CTO
David Morris is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of PROTEUS Business Solution Inc., an online enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for businesses in e-commerce, retail, healthcare, and highly regulated industries, including alcohol and cannabis. David is a globally recognized entrepreneur with over two decades of technology experience specializing in application development, data centers, cloud computing, and hardware. He also has extensive programming expertise for mortgage, insurance, financial, social and high risk businesses.
During the dot com era, David founded Pixeled Business Systems and Illuminated Hosting Services. Three years later in 2000, he launched PROTEUS Business Solutions and in 2008, established PROTEUS420 with his now business partner and wife, Dawne Morris.
Named one of the Youngest CEOs by the San Diego Business Journal in 2002, David’s first venture, Pixeled, has also received numerous accolades. In 2009, it was recognized as the 4th Fastest Growing Company by the San Diego Business Journal, and one of the INC 5000 fastest-growing private corporations in America in 2001, 2002, and INC 500 in 2003.
An elite programmer and traditional artist, David was an early digital adopter. Under the mentorship of his grandfather, who held a Master's in Computer Science and worked for NASA, he became interested in computers at the age of five, and programming at eight, and then at 12, David's entrepreneurial spirit took over as he began building a small business in his hometown of Indianapolis.
Throughout his professional career, David has built award-winning, design, development and IT companies from the ground up. He has held top level security clearance for the Department of Defense and created business and design concepts for ESPN, Delta Airlines, IAG, and more. David’s commitment to developing custom tech and data solutions that help companies scale, has established him as an authority in his field, with an intuitive ability to service emerging and disruptive industries.
